Christian Jokes

Early in ministry, I began to put a Christian joke in the Church magazine each month. Years later, I began to tell a Christian joke every Sunday morning. The jokes were popular -- so that in 1992 I compiled them in a book. Early this year, I published a 7th edition, with 800 Christian jokes. Today I compiled a rough draft of an 8th edition, with (at the moment) 848 Christian jokes. OBSERVATION: It is probably the biggest unpadded Christian jokes book there is. I know of one that is bigger, but a lot of the jokes are not specifically Christian. I could have had a lot more jokes, too, if I had allowed ones which were weak or risqué. One can find the current 7th edition in the right hand column of this blog. It is available from amazon.com. The 8th edition will have a better sub-title. One of my new jokes:
A pastor told a search committee, “If I am voted in as pastor of this church, I will work hard to bring us into the 20th century.”

Someone spoke up: ” Uh, Pastor, don’t you mean the 21st century?”

The pastor: “Let’s take it one century at a time!” ◽
