Here's one of the more intriguing things that happened to me in ministry. Following a diaconate meeting, a man called me up, and taunted me with quotes from the meeting -- and sounded very pleased with himself. The next morning, our caretaker and I took apart every power point in the hall where the meeting was held -- these may serve as power sources for bugs. There was nothing. We checked other locations. Nothing. At least that ruled out a few possibilities -- and I think, too, that we worked out how it happened. OBSERVATION: Typically, under my ministr(ies), every discussion and every minute has been open, unless for reasons of kindness we didn't wish to reveal things.
