The Central Idea
The problem with so many philosophies, ideologies, trends, is the central idea -- the "single thought" as Schopenhauer called it. These may look very sophisticated -- yet still have that central idea. It seems sad that so many people have prided themselves in yet another central idea. One has to shake off, therefore, the central idea. This is what I do in my magnum opus (working title "Everything, briefly"). OBSERVATION: I speak a lot about relations in my opus. Are relations not a central idea? In fact, this differs from the central idea in fundamental ways. First of all, relations are common to all philosophies, and subsume and unite their central ideas -- while one cannot say that the opposite is true. By the end of my book, anyway, I have dismantled relations themselves.
