Inventiveness
There is the slogan "They can who think they can" ("Possunt quia posse videntur"). People have said that I am brilliant -- most recently in a public comment this week. I say actually, no. Rather, I think it works something like this. I think I can, when actually I cannot. I am annoyed, then -- sufficiently annoyed to figure it out -- although the original intuition needs to be sound. It was interesting therefore to read today that TIME Magazine's Kid of the Year thinks in much the same way about the dynamic -- and says, "Anyone can do it." OBSERVATION: She also speaks about problem-solving -- which is part of the dynamic -- rather than knowledge or experience. It helps to have experts, though, who can double-check the finer points.
