Counselling Article

I have formal training in psychology, counselling, and, at postgraduate level, mentoring. Mentoring generally differs from counselling in that it doesn’t focus on people’s thoughts, but trains them in new behaviours. I have thousands of counselling sessions behind me, of vastly different character. I seldom write on the subject of counselling or mental health, but recently I received a request for an article--and was glad that I received a request. I submitted a 1 000 word article today, summarising what I learnt in counselling--which is, how I came to understand how it worked. OBSERVATION: My psychology professor was the celebrated Friso Meltzer (pictured).
