Against Unintelligible Documents

This is about my vaccination -- no, about events that surround it. I keep ever in my mind the words of the Good Friday prayer, "Lest in our own day we crucify afresh the Lord of life and the King of love." Let us not repeat the evils of the past. I had this in my mind when my medical plan demanded that I sign a document before I be vaccinated -- but this document was inscrutable to "the masses". This is what one did in the past: put a document in front of people which they cannot understand or even read, make them sign it, and let them bear the consequences. The solution to the standoff reached me like this:
"You have been scheduled for vaccination."

OBSERVATION: An intelligent solution, and I have had my first dose, although the root problem is still there.  In South Africa, documents need to be intelligible to the masses by law.
