Magnetic Levitation

Magnetic levitation modules are all the rage today, but there's a reason why they first appear now. They are very difficult to design. In 2007, I sold the copyright to the Jumping Spider, to Wimborne Publishing. My first approach was to make an untethered spider jump from a small platform and come down on the same spot, which is (almost) levitation. With all my skills, I didn't succeed. Or rather, I succeeded only one-third of the time. One in three times, the spider jumped in the air, and came down on the same spot.
