Car Bomb

There was an incident in my younger years, which left quite an impression on me. In the night, they fitted a car bomb to one of the cars in our small street. When the owner got into his car in the morning (it was Mr. Lyon, for those who know that street), there was fire and smoke, but the bomb failed to detonate. The question then was motive. If there was one, no one ever discovered it. We wondered then whether the bomb had been attached to the right car. OBSERVATION: Another example of shoddy workmanship in South Africa.
