Speaking of copy editing, here is, as an example, the first question of about thirty in a second round of copy editing:
"Would it be possible to do a little more digging on the Locke citation, though? For example, in what year was it published? And are we sure that the town is State College, PA? Penn State University Press has been located in University Park, PA, for a long time; although maybe the town itself was named something else a while ago."
This is, needless to say, quite ... intricate. But I think, in this case (I begin tomorrow morning to check things carefully) I have the very book by Locke, so can simply examine the details in the book. Some questions will not be so simple.
