Giants' Graves

This is a photo of a site which is generally regarded as taboo. In the Kiribati Republic, in the legends of old, there were giants. Here, in 1994, Pastor Katiotio and I stood at opposite ends of the grave of a giant, in the north of Beru. OBSERVATION: I had heard of the legends in my youth, and heard of the graves, but this was the first time I saw the graves. Sometimes, people would say, "The giants taught us."
