Just before New Year, I handed in seven lists of people, to the publishers, who might have an interest in my book. Nine months later, I have followed up most of the people in person whom the publishers contacted. There is something disturbing about these lists. The people on six out of seven lists remain fairly constant. But 13.5% of ministers have left their jobs in nine months. OBSERVATION: That is not to say that they have left the ministry altogether. I do not (yet) know where they have gone. Complete dropout, when I researched the subject in 2007-2009, stood at about 50% every ten years in the USA.
POSTSCRIPT: The total number of ministers on my list approaches 100.
