Under my ministries, every six weeks, we had guest preachers. I just stumbled upon notes of one such preacher's sermon, on Matthew 21:1-14.
Without Jesus, what you do will be fruitless and frustrating. Take a chance on what He is telling you to do. He says, “Come, and be blessed.”
OBSERVATION: I believe a Church needs fresh spiritual input like this -- not to speak of giving the minister a break -- or a change. Often, on such Sundays, I led the service and introduced the guest preacher. The sermon, behind the scenes, may be very time-consuming -- typically is.
