One of the most useful books that I have -- and one of the most important influences on my metaphysic -- is the Logical Propaedeutic by Wilhelm Kamlah and Paul Lorenzen. In 1973, they produced a book with an obscure title, a plain brown cover, ragged text inside, and it didn't even deliver the goods -- it was merely a propaedeutic (basis) for further thought -- yet it became a bestseller, and today is said to be famous. Copies sell at a premium now. Its strength was its richness and originality of thought. This is a photo of my own copy.
