Recently I wrote that I designed what I called a Huygens' Beam metal detector. Today I did a quick demonstration on Facebook. Here it is. Huygens hung some pendulum
clocks on a beam, which mysteriously began to tick in sympathy with each
other. The beam here is the (special) power supply, which causes two oscillators
to "tick in sympathy" with each other. I believe this is a new idea. I am fairly familiar with metal detector design!
