Requests Per Annum

There are many posts on this blog about the Church's response to people's material and financial needs in Africa. Yet these are mostly stories in isolation. Set in context, I made estimates over a few years how many formal requests I dealt with per annum -- which is to say, where there was a meeting in which material and financial needs were properly considered. It was about 400 per annum. OBSERVATION: I often said that this is an indicator of a Church's health. It might look like chaos sometimes, yet it is a good sign. The least requests I recorded in a year -- when I was counting -- was about 100.
