I was in touch with a political writer today in the UK. We hadn't been in touch for some time. He mentioned past trouble with the police, the origins of which were many years ago now, around the close of my city ministry. In a quick reply, I summed it up like this:
"I was a well known minister on Cape Town's west coast. Suddenly, I was arrested. I was completely confused. I thought that some people had laid false charges against me. It turned out that the police had set me up, and made a false arrest. There was a police investigation [into the police], and I was invited to headquarters. I went into the meeting "wired". They announced their findings, but wouldn't put them on paper. But I had them in CD-quality stereo, and released them."
