The question often arises in ministry: whether someone should make big decisions following major trauma. Some people say freeze, don't make any major decisions for a year, maybe two. Yet if I look back over my ministry, and try to judge it dispassionately, I have seen several people making fast (big) decisions following major trauma, and these decisions brought lasting blessing. I have not so much seen the opposite. OBSERVATION: So I don't think that the potential for wrong decision-making is higher. However, it would make eminent sense to be prayerful, and aware, if not watchful, of the state one is in.
