When the Church is (Not) Going Well

There is something about the Church that is not merely anecdotal, but has been confirmed through research. It is good for a Church to be living on the edge. On the edge of property collapse, the edge of financial crisis, the edge of staffing crisis. However, one may say the opposite, too. Do you see a Church whose properties are sound, that is financially solid, fully staffed? That Church could be in big trouble. OBSERVATION: I had a colleague whose Church received a donation of several million rands. He resigned immediately. The Church of another colleague received one-million rands. They spent it all, without delay.
