1990's Pandemic

During the 1990's, I often dealt with HIV/AIDS in ministry. I estimated that one in ten churchgoers were HIV positive, or had AIDS -- which was based on what I knew. Some of the children, too, were HIV positive. Some of the adults were the most dedicated and exemplary Church members. OBSERVATION: At that time, many people died of AIDS, including churchgoers. I  dealt with the problem as one deals with any other spiritual and physical problems, and HIV/AIDS gave rise to diverse problems. I kept people's HIV/AIDS status confidential, including children -- with one exception, but that's another story.
