I read an article on the "spookily empty" character of contemporary worship. Contemporary worship has been shown again and again to have much less
content than liturgical worship. My own style -- and I have had thriving ministries -- has surely been closest to
contemporary -- yet with an important twist. In virtually every service, it has been based on liturgical texts, which I have converted into contemporary "everyday speak". I doubt that anyone has recognised the liturgy there.
