Silent Camera (Not)
I am no longer a fan of Leica cameras, as I found them too fragile. They had a useful feature, though: one could switch them to "silent" -- and they really were silent. Technically, one can do that with my current, 2021 Fujifilm camera -- but one best needs to switch on the shutter to neutralise flicker, say from fluorescent lighting -- and that means that the camera may go clack when one takes a photo -- as in, "Let us observe a moment's solemn silence ... clack." OBSERVATION: This is something that matters where one photographs religious services. One can get around it, though it's not nearly as easy as switching to "silent".
