Attic Ladder

Would it fit? That had me worried. This is a ladder I designed to reach our attic. It might look like a fairly ordinary ladder, but notice that it is a kind of pipe ladder. Also, one climbs the ladder between ladder and wall (the bottom of the photo), which makes it easier to climb than an ordinary ladder -- the wall serves as a back-rest. Since it stands hardly 40 cm off the wall, the ladder has alternate rungs. This gives one's knees room to move, which would not be the case with an ordinary ladder in such limited space. The main design challenges were a mere 40 cm gap between joists, and limited floor space. It's an original -- I don't know of a ladder like it.
