Power Cut

The water came back on, yesterday, in Thembalethu. But this morning the power cut. And after the power cut, the water cut once more. I realise that I see things from the point of view of high expectations, but how does one get on with life without water or electricity? And then the township is partially paralysed through service delivery protests. OBSERVATION: And I left my inverter at home, because I hadn't expected Thembalethu to pose a problem with power. It is one of the major townships, and it is run by the Democratic Alliance. If the power doesn't come back on, my blogging will end.
