Headwinds

In my quest to create a new metaphysics (a total or panoramic philosophy), I have had strong headwinds from the start—which is 40 years.
At my first seminary, I was banned for asking philosophical questions (I was unbanned).
At my third seminary, one of the faculty told me that a metaphysics was impossible.
At my fourth seminary, my research was vetoed, for the philosophy (this was reversed).
Members of my city Church accused me of quoting pagans (though I didn't in Church).
Most recently, I was told that my work was rubbish, and my chances were nil.
Last month, then, a major publisher signed me up. OBSERVATION: The naysayers continue. But something happened, in 1978, by which I knew my future course. It was a calling. Wife E says to me, "Only you know what you are really doing. Others don't." By now, some very well known philosophers have endorsed my work. Theologians, too.
