Both my sister and I (separately) crossed paths with the renowned Francis Schaeffer. She sketched him the year before he died, in 1983. It is probably the only sketch "out there" that captures him in a typical pose. She comments on this sketch: "He always wore those knee breeches and sat on the warm oven like that." Francis Schaeffer Sketch
