Congratulations to my cousin-in-law (I think she's my sister, in Xhosa), second from the right in this photo. She just completed a degree in education, at KwaSizabantu in "Zululand" (KwaZulu-Natal). Four years ago, she had only the money to pay for a one-way ticket, to travel more than 2 000 kilometres (1 400 miles) to KwaSizabantu. But she went in faith. I dropped her at the bus station in Cape Town, a stop along the way. She went on to become primaria (head girl) at the teachers' training college. OBSERVATION: Without faith, she couldn't have gone. And imagine if she hadn't.
