Inclusive Counselling

In counselling, there is often more than one person involved in a problem -- such as husband and wife, or congregant and staff member. In that case, I always seek to see both of them at the same time -- even a few at the same time. I have had sessions where we were five. There are exceptions, though -- where such counselling cannot be arranged, or where it is agreed that it makes good sense to counsel one or the other separately.
