A minister finds himself (or herself) in a unique and often difficult tension. His purpose is redemptive. He is always seeking to restore people. It becomes an entire way of life. And it may be very difficult, therefore, when he is faced with situations which, for everyone's good, really call for law enforcement. Many people do not have this ministerial struggle. It is simply not their interest to redeem a sinner. OBSERVATION: A minister, too, may be at risk where he or she seeks to work a redemptive solution in an unlawful situation.
