The Truth Will Out

It is curious sometimes how "the truth will out". Some years ago, a computer company bribed a politician to get its computers into schools. This came up in a counselling session with me. The same company had hired a facilitator, to facilitate the bribe -- or shall we say, they enticed him. Part of the enticement was some whiz-bang computer equipment. And so the deal was done, and this company offered the facilitator upgrades to his whiz-bang equipment, apparently for services well rendered. However, as soon as they had the equipment in their hands, they didn't upgrade it, but they seized it -- together with masses of data which the facilitator needed for his daily work. And so a fairly big political corruption was revealed through a man who was distressed over his next day's bread and butter. OBSERVATION: It was revealed to me, that is. I did not pass it on, but encouraged the facilitator to come clean.
