I was speaking to someone last week: he didn't like the hierarchical structure of Anglicanism, he said (he is an Anglican), and he was attracted to the priesthood of believers in Congregationalism -- however, all these priests in Congregationalism kept causing splits in the Church. I said that I see the role of a Congregational minister as facilitating the priesthood of believers, to achieve a rich and full priesthood -- everyone ministering to all -- yet not so that one or two priests should rise too high through pride or arrogance or anything else, to become dominant in the Church. It is a strange situation: using one's influence to quell influence. But the purpose really is, so to use one's influence that every priest should be treated as truly precious, and not be reduced by others.
