I am an editor and a deputy editor. Earlier this week, I approached a bishop for permission to adapt part of a paper he delivered at a world conference. He said yes, go ahead. This morning I worked on the material for two hours, then sent him a draft, and a draft to a co-editor. OBSERVATION: I myself look for strong concepts, and this was conceptually strong. The bishop argued that there is the debt of poor nations to rich nations, and there are efforts to neutralise poor nations' debt -- but we should be talking about the debt of rich nations to poor nations -- ideally a debt of love -- for the damage done by the technological age.
