I posted this photo on the Beru Discussion Group a moment ago. I think it is 1966. One sees my father in the photo, and my sister and me. In the foreground one sees a Roman Catholic nun, Miss Maxfield. I do not recognise anyone else. Miss Maxfield later nursed me when I suffered a serious injury, and we waited on doctors for, I think, two weeks. OBSERVATION: Beru is only 14km / 9mi long, and at one point only 500 metres / yards wide. Yet Beru was central to the development of the nation. My father went on to become head of the Protestant Church in the islands.
