The
Cop Caught Sleeping received
major media attention in South Africa this week. This (above) seems equally interesting. About the same time, I entered a city police station, which mercifully shall remain nameless here -- where nobody was sleeping because nobody was
there.
OBSERVATION: I helped myself. I entered the "innards" of the police station and found an officer upstairs. People say: "Poor service." The danger that I see here is that South Africa is a very volatile country. Like this, police stations "have their underbelly exposed". (In another city police station, I waited three-quarters of an hour in an empty charge office).
