BBC Trending just published an article on unread e-mails: "How many unread emails have you got piling up in your inbox? 50? 100? Over 1,000?" My answer: none of the above. While 4,103 of my incoming e-mails languish, 85% have been attended to. But these are fairly much nominal figures. I have (had) a number of e-mail addresses, and a number of e-mail clients. My preferred client at the moment is
