Three months ago, my PhD critic sent me recommendations for my magnum opus, scattered across 300 pages. He was a very great help. Where he did not hit the nail on the head, he
hit next to it, and that was just as useful. It was hard work to incorporate his critique -- wife E comments that I need a rest. Last week then, I handed the more vital changes to my BPhil critic, to double-check them. Having now received his input and assessed it, I approached my PhD critic again. Would he look at my revised work? He wrote to me today that he is "happy to take another look", next month -- and it will take me until then to address my BPhil critic's input. OBSERVATION: My PhD critic has worked for well known
clients such as Cambridge University Press. It is a privilege for me that he will work with me.
