Sometimes, a minister advises members about job opportunities -- or rather, discusses this with them, and seeks to find God's will. It is interesting how things look, ten or twenty years later. Back then a member got a job which was (say) secure, and paid well. But looking back over the years, one sees that they didn't thrive there, or the job was too lonely, or they didn't develop their potential, and so on. OBSERVATION: Perhaps, in trying to find a common factor here, it is the problem that they did not put their personality needs at the top of the list -- rather, they put more sensible needs there. But the more sensible needs have a place, too, of course.
