Katballetjies

I typically give wife E an "anniversary" gift every month. This month it was katballetjies. These are a local vegetable, which sometimes (rarely) appears on restaurant menus. The local San knew them well. People describe their taste variously. I would say: something like parsley. Their scientific name is Senecio rowleyanus. Wikipedia says they are native to south-west Africa. I know them from south-east Africa (as they say, don't trust Wikipedia too much).
