Forward In Faith

I have seen God provide for students in wonderful ways -- and I was one of them. When I first visited Fuller Theological Seminary (pictured), it was as an envoy of Tangintebu Theological College. I hadn't thought of studying there myself. However, a professor (Nancey Murphy) invited me to apply for postgraduate studies. Without believing I would be accepted, I applied, and indeed I was accepted. Only then did I look at the fees: by today's exchange rate, more than R300 000 for tuition alone, for an MA. I told my wife Mirjam that it was completely impossible -- I had to pull out. She said no, I should get started -- and I did. And I finished the degree -- just 0.1 GPA short of perfection. OBSERVATION: This is not only my story, but that of many students who went ahead in faith and prayer.
