I sometimes speak of suicide's twin. From time to time, in counselling, I see what might be described as situational suicide. The dynamic behind it may be similar to suicide. One can take one’s life -- or one can take one’s situation. One ends one's situation -- mercilessly sometimes. As an example, I was involved in a situation where a woman decided to end her family life. She reached suicide point, but she chose suicide's twin. She cut off her husband and children in an instant (a situation where I myself could see hope and a future). Another example: a woman reached suicide point, and ended her career and cut off her friends -- also in an instant.
