Substation No. 3891

I was questioned by a security officer for taking this photo. Although I could keep it, I couldn't take any more. OBSERVATION: In Cape Town, the Jewish community are much safer than they are in the West, and much loved all round, but they have high security. A local synagogue security chief said to me: "Reverend, the threat is not in our imagination. It is real." I like photographing substation labels -- some are historically significant, such as the Round Church substation.
