Journal Views and Us

I was looking at estimates of readers of journal articles. An estimate over at Academia: "A reasonable and quite objective minimum and maximum limit for a scientific article other scholars are really interested in is 50-170." Looking back one year at articles on Pi -- a publication which I co-edit -- few articles fall below 170 views. Generally speaking, our worst articles perform better than the best in journals, and that is only counting direct views, not total views, which are many times higher. OBSERVATION: This month, it looks as though we are headed for our highest readership since a re-launch in 2015. I haven't checked our world ranking lately, but last time we checked, we were "charting".
