Rejection Slips

My rejection slips (for my metaphysic) look like an adulation parade:
"You are an amazing writer ...
Your project has considerable merit ...
We very much enjoyed reading it ...
I would absolutely buy this ...
This is a promising work ...
Please do stay the querying course ..."
OBSERVATION: I have done this before, and know that this is not usual. Yet imagine that one has written the first book about, say, the next sure thing after space travel: call it X-travel. Literary agents will say, "I don't do X-travel books." Publishers will say, "Nobody reads X-travel books." And so on. I have the first postmodern metaphysic in hand (which is not a contradiction in terms).
