A Secretary of the African National Congress (ANC) provocatively applied to buy land in our Afrikaner enclave Orania. It was a high-key approach, which included various pronouncements (see the link). I have learnt through ministry -- my own ministry and that of others -- that a low-key approach may be far more effective, in all kinds of contexts. Imagine that he had simply applied -- and let it be known that he applied. OBSERVATION: I learnt it from a minister's daughter, whose father was persecuted for his non-racialism. She made no pronouncements, and steered clear of all drama, just told the story softly before the gathered Church. It made a great impression. (Imagine that the Secretary settles in Orania).
