Run-In With a Non-Human

Recently I asked Mweb for advice with my Internet account. I had just received an invoice. An Mweb human referred me to their Support Assistant: "You are most welcome to log onto our website and click on the Live chat button." The conversation unfolded like this:
• Hi, I'm, the Mweb Support Assistant. I can help you with common technical and account related questions.

• Hello Mweb, I received an invoice for scarboro@iafrica.com, but am not sure whether this is deducted from my account or needs payment.

• I didn't quite understand your request. I'm ready to answer another question.

• Can you give me a human.

• I am sorry, I did not find any resource matching your question. Please try a different search phrase.

• billing

• These are the Account, Billing related topics I can help you with ... Which of these can I help you with?

• None. You sent me an invoice. Do you automatically deduct this from my account? 

[Support Assistant falls silent.]
