Tree Stump Picnic

It's a photo of my late wife Mirjam, mid-winter 2010, which was half a year before she died. I took a panoramic shot, with Cape Town's city centre in the background. We were going to have a picnic on the other side of the road, on a low wall at a tadpole pond. She was not strong enough to get there, so we sat down where we were, and had a picnic on this tree stump.
