I have a hands-on counselling style. I don't merely counsel, but intervene on people's behalf. I intervened on behalf of a university student last year, and got his education back on track after he was derailed. I received an e-mail from him today:
"You are in my Diary, one of the persons who proved to me that really, there are people who feel sorry, and do something. You helped me when I was burdened. I don't forget you."
Everything is on track, he writes, to obtain his university degree this year. OBSERVATION: I don't forget him, either. Such relationships are special. Sometimes they last a lifetime.
