One of my biggest concerns in finding a publisher -- any publisher -- was whether they would be capable of a metaphysics. Who in the world would be? In the case of my present publisher, I didn't know, I wasn't sure -- although they had some experience with metaphysics, postmodernism, philosophical theology, and so forth. I therefore asked for four months' grace, while I had my work expertly, independently content-checked. Last week, a copy editor of the publishers e-mailed me -- my first real insight into their capabilities with my text. The editor was very sharp. I feel a lot safer now.
