Immense Instability

The Beatles wanted to be paperback writers -- which seems beyond comprehension to me! One feature of actually being one is immense instability. In a normal job, one may predict, more or less, what happens each week, even each day. "Monday I do this; Tuesday I do that ..." With a book, one week one is negotiating a deal. The next week one is back in the desert. One week one is copy-editing. The next week typesetting. This week promoting the book. Next week resisting attack. Next week, a price restructure. Next week ... goodness knows. So it goes on, week by week. OBSERVATION: Thankfully I have ministry experience, which equips me well for many of the challenges.
