Obstacles to the Poor

I am continually in contact with the poor -- and am continually confronted with the barriers they face to greater success. I recently blogged about plain English, or the lack of it. Today, two agreements landed on my desk. In the first case, I needed to print it out, sign it, and zip it down the line ... Phew. Where would I begin, if I were one of the poor? The other requires that I digitally sign it, and zip video identity down the line. What? All this looks fine to one like me -- but to one of the poorer persons of the planet, such things may be all but insurmountable obstacles.
