Ministry And Crime

How often does an urban minister deal with crime? In my experience, about every three to four days (I checked) -- in the sense of crime which is directly relevant to ministry -- typically something that must be dealt with in counselling, or someone who has just fallen prey to crime. Ministry and crime find themselves in a kind of tango with each other. OBSERVATION: I took this photo in 2008, at the scene of an attempted murder. I knew the victim, who was unconscious. Someone cut him to bits with a bottle. I was worried whether he would make it. The police, when they arrived, weren't sure he was alive. He made it. I told him to go home (his roots were in the country).
